I have never been in the military, but if I had been, I would say that this scene reminds me a lot of what life in the military is like (culturally that is, minus the non-human people of course).

Well, my own experiences with "military life" are limited to a bunch of war movies, nearly every Andy McNab novel, and ten years or so of very competitive airsoft. :°D

Yes. Chapter 2 will show the training, so it's probable they will show again (just as Badass Normals, like the rest of the soldiers, though. Powers are limited in my setting).

That's perfectly fine. Kinda surprised Kaizer didn't turn back when Julian called Kai, since he's also referred to that every now and again. Probably didn't hear him or something lol
