Help is coming. I took the chance to draw another special guest, Dr. Sarah Demark from Centcomm's Datachasers. The nurses are actual recurring characters of mine, though.
In the last panel, we can see some of the previous guests - they were still around after all.

Just as a matter of interest, would the police get involved if someone refused to pay their share of the damages after a bar fight, or would the mercenary guild or whatever handle that?

Well, if Odin's mercenaries were responsible for the damage, the guild would pay and detract the amount from their wages. If they were outsiders, police could be involved. Usually there's no need, since the regulars, well-known troublemakers included, respect Maria and wouldn't refuse to pay.
(Besides, I'm pretty sure she hides something like a plasma blaster under her counter)
